CHVRCHES

Lauren Mayberry è la vocalist del trio di musica elettronica (synthpop) CHVRCHES. Il gruppo si è formato a Glasgow nel 2011 con Iain Cook (synth, chitarra, basso) e Martin Doherty (synth, samplers).
Tra le principali influenze musicali citano Cyndi Lauper, Kate Bush e The Cocteau Twins. La band è fieramente indipendente e cerca di mantenere più controllo possibile sulla propria attività artistica, fino a fare un punto importante il fatto di scrivere personalmente i messaggi che compaiono sui propri account twitter e facebook.
