The King is Dead è un gioco da tavolo di Peer Sylvester. Veloce ma intenso e originale. E' una variante ben riuscita di König von Siam, un gioco di maggioranze, sempre dello stesso autore. Si tratta di influenzare le tre fazioni in lotta in ciascuna delle 8 regioni sulla mappa della Britannia in modo da riuscire ad avere il predominio sia nel caso in cui avvenga l'incoronazione che invece l'invasione francese.
