Satoshi Kon è stato un regista geniale, animatore, sceneggiatore e autore di manga. Nato a Sapporo, Hokkaidō e membro della Japanese Animation Creators Association.
Si è laureato al dipartimento di Graphic Design della Musashino Art University.
